Figure Two Piece Call-Outs
Class
A:
On Saturday we continued to see very different looks among the
top call-outs for two piece. Akane Nigro-Ismael is some people's
choice for the overall, talking among the other booth vendors.
First call-out: Sue Upson, Prudence
Moe, Akane Nigro-Ismeal, Kara Flowers
Second call-out: Jennifer Hoffman,
Kristen Rhoades, Karen Barbientos, Debra Lavette, Aketa Thomas,
Gloria Tinajero Tovar
Class
B:
JulieAnn simply looks astonishing - great lines, size with tiny
joints and overall beauty. She has been somewhat under the radar
because of her efficiency, meaning she competes at fewer national
shows but really brings a total package when she appears. JulieAnn
has a chance at the overall. We continue to really like Jennifer
Jackson and would love to see her physique type rewarded, while
Monica Mark is sure to move up later in the year.
First call-out: JulieAnn Kulla,
Melody Clere, Josie Zamora, Liza Kampstra, and Soleivi Hernandez
Second call-out: Jennifer DeJoya,
Denise Rose, Jennifer Jackson, Monica Mark, Stephanie Onorato,
Tara Green
Class
C:
Again, so many different looks on stage among the top call-outs
and we have been fans of all of these individuals. Ana Tigre
is a pro in our minds already while it was good to see Chrissy
Burton rebound from Junior USA's. The new criteria should be
tailor-made for a future pro like Jacqui Skibba so we're going
to really analyze the photos to see if we can dissect all this
further in the contest report.
First call-out: Ana Tigre, Pamela
Soper, Gale Elie, Chrissy Burton, Teresa Gilliam, Emily Nicholson
Second call-out: Redeker, Reinhart,
Skibba, DeNapoli, Morganstern, Brochu
Class
D:
Alicia Harris and Terri Turner were maneuvered to the center
of the first call-out in this class and they appear to be the
front runners. Veronica Miller is a prototype mixture of muscle
and symmetry and if we were looking at last year's judging standards
she might be in line for the overall and most certainly a pro
card. Amanda Quinlan came in full and brought her vascularity
down and we would have had her in the first call-outs. Many
stars in this huge class and it was hard to include everyone.
First call-out: Jennifer Toth,
Danielle Kifer, Kristy McKinney, Terri Turner, Alicia Harris,
Veronica Miller
Second call-out: Quinlan, Cortez,
Barta, Anderson, Khoo, Hurrle, Mabin, and Marsh
Class
E:
Western domination (Colorado and Oregon)!!
First call-out: Catherine Holland,
Jenny Lewis, Jaime Meade
Second call-out: Powell, Hutchinson,
Wernert, Sheppard
Class
F:
Stephanie Billings gets a much deserved elevation to second
call-outs.
First call-out: Ali Huston, Christine
Aguilar, Jennifer Martin, Noel Clark
Second call-out: Fox, Breznau,
Billings, Bleile, Ramirez

Figure One Piece Call-Outs
Class
A:
Jen Hoffman tightened up considerably (under the guidance
of Paola Almerico) since Charleston and looks ripped and amazing.
Sue Upson looks terrific as expected and will continue her
string of top finishes - and has a shot at the win.
First call-out: Jennifer Hoffman,
Sue Upson, Prudence Moe, Akane Nigro-Ismeal, Karen Barbientos,
Kara Flowers
Second call-out: Jennifer Hoffman,
Karen Barbientos, Debra Lavette, Aketa Thomas, Gloria Tinajero
Tovar
Third call-out: Dora Trikoupis,

Tina Horne, Devin Kenney, Mandy Henderson
Fifth call-out: Judi Cuff, Mary
Cencich, Debbie Bell, Crystal Piercy, Andrea Vandenhul
Class
B:
Most definitive and smallest first call-out of the night.
JulieAnn Kulla is presenting a stunning package and it appears
to be a two-athlete race for the top (pending two piece of
course). The class is large and deep as evidenced by the stellar
athletes in the third and fourth call-outs. Susan Salazar,
who has won several overall shows in California, was overlooked
somewhat. Tara Green from Team Performance Ready brought an
outstanding combination of muscle and symmetry, while Tiffany
Procopio is another competitor who looks very impressive.
First call-out: JulieAnn Kulla,
Liza Kampstra, Solveivi Hernandez
Second call-out: Solveivi Hernandez,
Denise Rose, Melody Clere, Stephanie Onorato, Monica Mark
Third call-out: Jennifer Jackson,
Jennifer DeJoya, Lauren Pearlman, Deven Schruff, Tara Green
Fourth call-out: Lauren Pearlman,
Donekar King, Michelle Woodward, Nez Zamorano, Josie Zamora
Fifth call-out: Keri Moser, Vicki
Counts, Kelly Wolfe, Janae Stewart, Jennifer Smythe
Sixth call-out: Susan Salazar,
Michelle Bowman, Heather Misra, Tiffany Procopio, Jill Vadala
Seventh call-out: Angela Mann,
Kimberly Currie, Rosalou Traughber, Jamie Bender, Marina Lopez-Bini,
Kelli Joy Horn
Class
C:
Class C is loaded with superstars, competitors who are known
for past wins and high placings throughout the country, and
many of them were rewarded with first call-outs. The bellowings
to everyone to stop flexing were very noticeable during these
top call-outs. In the lower call-outs, Krista Gibson and Tiffany
Underwood were extremely impressive. Ironman standout Jennifer
Kline made a noticeable national level debut.
First call-out: Gale Elie, Ana
Tigre, Pamela Soper, Ginger Redeker, Teresa Gillian, Chrissy
Burton
Second call-out: Bea Fox, Ana Tigre,
Ginger Redeker, Pamela Soper, Jacqueline Skibba, Chrissy Burton
Third call-out: Shawna Reinhart,
Emily Nicholson, Chelsey Morgenstern, Lisa Lopez, Lauren DeNapoli,
Lisa Brochu
Fourth call-out: Sherrie Carnicle,
Krista Gibson, Carla Machado, Shannan Roskam, Lisa Brochu, Melissa
DeBernardo, Edith Driver
Fifth call-out: Heather Ruelen,
Tiffany Underwood, Jennifer Kline, Dee Fitzgibbons, Khristy
Poteat, Natosha Green, April Harrison
Sixth call-out: Shakelle Oneal,
Sue Ellen Dent, Ann Titone, Stacy Rose, Sandra Avelli, Casey
Brocata
Class
D:
Class D is also stacked, and we are big fans of all the athletes
in the first and second call-outs. Any of the top five could
win, and Alicia Harris also looks beautiful and is a multi-show
winner from the Chicago area. Having muscle did not seem to
hurt in this class (to a point). Andrea Swanson stepped forward
for the first call-out directly in the center, before being
told to step back. Intentional or not, Andrea made a statement
- way to go girl!! Keri Anderson is showing off great delts
and symmetry while Laticia Harrell is a FigureRX favorite
who has really elevated her game. Looking at the third call-outs
tells you how competitive this class turned out to be, with
superstar Amanda Quinlan, a streamlined Kendra McAdams and
recent California State champion Sara Hurrle.
First call-out: Terri Turner,
Danielle Kifer, Jennifer Toth, Veronica Miller, Kristy McKinney
Second call-out: Alicia Harris,
Keri Anderson, Jillian Mabin, Kimmie Brooks, Brighan Marsh,
Laticia Harrell
Third call-out: Sara Hurrle,
Enji Khoo, Charmayne Jackson, Amanda Quinlan, Kendra McAdams,
Stacey Ann Barta
Fourth call-out: Michelle Cortez,
Kate Ryan, Randi Spector, Dixie Reynolds, Dorothy Trojanowicz,
Jennifer Myers
Fifth call-out: Robyne Roveccio-Palmer,
Janet West, Larisa Blaylock, Jessica Troha, Andrea Swanson,
Joy Lewis
Class
E:
Colorado and Texas are both really well represented at this
show, by the way. There were few surprises in Class E as Catherine
Holland looks primed to continue her winning ways and to perhaps
get a card. Jenny Lewis and Jaime Meade also stood out for
their total packages. Klubo Rachel was overlooked, while Danielle
Edmonds is one of those athletes who looks her best when she
is ultra- conditioned and had some difficulty transitioning
to the new criteria.
First call-out: Holly Powell,
Catherine Holland, Alyssa Stroud, Jenny Lewis
Second call-out: Jaime Meade,
Sarah Wernert, Alyssa Stroud, Heather Berman, Ginger Hutchinson
Third call-out: Tara Lynn Zito,
Amy Lee Martin, Kimberly Sheppard, Holly Beck, Tiffany Stoker
Fourth call-out: Klubo Rachel,
Jennifer Lynn Scarpetti, Jody Bernhardt, Judy Weichman, Madelyn
Welles
Fifth call-out: Danielle Edmonds,
Avis Ware, Angela Kirkland, Jennifer Lynn Scarpetti, LaDrissa
Bonivel, Sarah Myers
Class
F:
This was by far the smallest class and was overall less competitive
but definitely had its strong points including Ali Huston
who is noticeably improved from last year, and Christine Aguilar.
Stephanie Billings looks great and deserved to be in the mix
here.
First call-out: Ali Huston, Christine
Aguilar, Jennifer Martin, Noel Clark
Second call-out: Darlen Tafoya,
Veronica Ramirez, MJ Fox, Amanda Breznau, Tammy Bleile
Third call-out: Jessica Yvonne-Anderson,
Martha Haraf, Jane Holtzman, Andrea Lyons, Marisol Suarez,
Stephanie Billings
